Victoria’s Secret? She Rides the Subway
VS&Co. takes a ride with New York’s MTA to celebrate the fashion show's return.
The Victoria’s Secret Fashion show is BACK and it’s bringing the entire New York public transportation system with it!
The MTA has teamed up with Victoria’s Secret on a limited-edition MetroCard featuring Victoria Secret’s signature pink and white stripes for the VS fashion show. While this collab wasn’t on our bingo card for 2024, this isn’t the first trendy step for MTA. Recently, it’s been adopting a casual, fun and trendy online presence – engaging in brat summer, meet cutes on subway and rock-and roll-collabs with KISS while maintaining an informative and inclusive voice online. At the intersection of fashion and transportation, this was a creative and clever move for VS&Co.
The cards will be available for a limited time only at these five subway stations around the city: 42 Street-Bryant Park, 34 Street-Penn Station, Atlantic Avenue-Barclays Center, Queensboro Plaza and Fordham Road.
