Clare V x Schoolhouse Brings It Home
One of our favorite designers has a new homeware collab
Clare Vivier’s eponymous Clare V has worked with brands on everything from eyewear and pajamas. Now, she's taking her style home.
Already known for her creative partnerships with brands like The Carlyle and Tracksmith, fashion designer Clare Vivier has taken on a new challenge in her most recent collaboration with Portland-based lighting and lifestyle goods brand Schoolhouse: furniture. “I love home décor,” Vivier told the New York Times. “Fashion is my language, my self-expression, but I love that interiors can be an extension of that and how you want to live.” A recent piece in Domino even showcased Vivier's Los Angeles home, much of which features items from the Schoolhouse collection.
The collection, which is Schoolhouse’s first with a fashion designer, features everything from lamps, pillows and rugs to a tufted ottoman and sofa, available in both velvet or corduroy. While Schoolhouse is known more for vintage, neutral tones and an adherence to Americana-inspired design, Vivier’s introduction of bold colors and unique materials mark a new direction for the brand.
