Hot dogs are trending, and not just at the ballpark.

Glizzies have gone glam, loaded with everything from crab to caviar. It’s an entire tasting menu between buns.

Not to be confused with raw dogging, Frenchified franks and high tea with mini dogs are the new way to dog. We rounded up the wildest – and most glamorous - hot dogs sweeping the country.

Portillo’s Hot Dog High Tea, NYC, Chicago, LA

Chain, Portillo’s and Jameson are linking for a limited-edition hot dog high tea. Expect miniature versions of the chain’s classics — a baby Chicago dog, truffled Italian beef slider, sweet treats — and Jameson cocktails to sip between bites. Pinkies up.  

Caviar Dogs at The Modern, New York, NY

You go for the fried chicken bucket, but stay for the bite-sized Wagyu hot dogs topped with mustard remoulade, caramelized onions, fresh dill and a healthy spoonful of caviar. The Bar Room at The Modern knows how to dress a dog.   

Sir Wieners at Lamar’s Sporting Club, Charleston, SC‍

This over-the-top hot dog stand goes all-in on absurd combos like peanut butter, bacon and pretzels or Lowcountry crab and jalapeños. But the star of the show is the Wiener Tower: five signature dogs stacked high with truffle fries and dipping sauces. It’s a fork-and-knife situation.

L’Haute Dog at Coucou, Los Angeles, CA

A French bistro twist on the classic frank, this glizzy gets an upgrade with artisan pork sausage, French onion marmalade, gooey cheese fondue, sharp mustard and pickled peppers. Très chic, très melty.

Game Dogs at Biker Jim’s, Denver, CO

This Denver staple turns the traditional dog on its head with exotic meats like ostrich, elk, boar. buffalo and even jackalope. Toppings range from caramelized apples and Irish cheddar to roasted cactus and Malaysian curry jam. Not your average tailgate.
