The Fishwife Tinned Fish Shop Pops Up in New York.
We’re getting the feeling that the tinned fish moment is here to stay.
Whether it’s on social media, in the art world or at our favorite restaurants, delicious and delicate little seafood treats seem to be reigning supreme. And no one is riding the tinned fish wave more than Fishwife, the beautifully designed tinned seafood company you’ve probably seen on your feed a time or two.
While the super-popular brand primarily sells their tinned wares online, New Yorkers will have the chance to load up on smoked mackerel and sardines IRL at Fishwife’s new pop-up store, opening its doors the weekends of September 27th and October 4th at 247 Elizabeth Street on the Lower East Side.
Billed as a ‘one-of-a-kind, immersive tinned fish experience,’ the pop up is jam-packed with can’t-miss delights like an aperitivo night, pizza Friday with @rubirosa_nyc, smoked fish spreads schmeared on @apollobagels, live mini-print drawings from @danbodraws and the debut of the brand’s latest (and most requested) new product.
Yes, we’re officially living in the era of limited-edition tinned fish drops.
