Here’s what to know, what to wear and what to order at Le Dix-Sept in San Francisco.
Welcome to Chow Now, our monthly sneak peek of a new restaurant we're super excited about.
This month we're looking forward to the opening of Le Dix-Sept, a new bakery and patisserie in San Francisco run by acclaimed pastry chef Michelle Hernandez. Here's everything you need to know before you go.
What to Know
This local favorite bakery is all about expertly-made French pastries with a botanical focus. Originally founded in 2011, Chef Hernandez's pastries became instantly known for their use of fresh and seasonal herbs, teas and flowers to create literal masterpieces, evidenced in her natural prowess for butter cream art. In particular, the handmade multi-layer cakes make for a stunningly eye-catching centerpiece for any event.
