Almost a year to the day since season two premiered, The Bear is back – in all it's high-stakes, anxiety-inducing glory.

While the extremely-in-demand cast has been quite busy since we left Carmy stuck in the walk-in – Ebon Moss-Bachrach joined the MCU, Ayo Edebiri convinced the world she’s Irish, and Jeremy Allen White graced Houston Street with his presence – we can all agree that they have their work cut out for them if the show plans to eclipse the heights of last season (Christmas dinner will never be the same).

In honor of the show’s return, and all of us wondering why we don’t use a mandolin or mesh strainer in the kitchen on a daily basis, we put together a starter kit of kitchen tools and accessories that we think even Carmy would approve of. Not included: your very own “Every Second Counts” sign to hang above your kitchen door.
