In Our Brand Collab Era
While brand collaborations are nothing new, it seems like everyone these days has taken brand partnerships to the next level.
From Jeremy Allen White in his Calvins to the Fendi x Pokemon partnership, luxury fashion and adjacent categories have been releasing brand collabs for decades now.
While some critics are bemoaning collaboration saturation — Crocs x Hidden Valley Ranch anyone? — we feel like we’re just coming into the golden age. Not only are more companies seeing the value of cross promotion and an introduction to a new audience, but they’re also seeing the benefit of creating more immersive and cultural experiences for shoppers.
Arguably, Golden Goose x HAUS offers one of the most experiential collaborations we’ve seen. Launched in 2023, HAUS of Dreamers was developed by the Italian brand to feature handpicked creatives across multiple disciplines. Centered on large-scale events, HAUS returned to its new, permanent home in Venice — Golden Goose’s home base — this spring.
The sprawling building will be a hub for art, craft, and culture and is comprised of an exhibition space, an artistic residency, an academy for artisanal training, a factory for product innovation (which Golden Goose calls the Manovia), and spaces to showcase the brand’s culture, including an archive, library, and auditorium.
If you can’t pop over to Venice anytime soon, here are a few other unique collabs that have us whipping out our Amex.

Velveeta x George The Jeweler

Nike x Ben & Jerry’s
Known for giving seemingly every late-night show host their own flavor, Ben & Jerry's is world renowned for producing high-quality ice cream and for its values of doing good while having fun. With a similar ethos, Nike SB picked up what Ben & Jerry’s was putting down by churning out the Dunk Low, featuring hues and textures that mimic Ben & Jerry's signature packaging for a limited edition partnership. Scoop them up before they’re gone. Shop now.
Joya x Dominique Ansel

The collection also includes Scented Birthday Candles in flavors like strawberry milk and and salted butterscotch, as well as a "Secret Recipe" Candle housed in a measuring jug that can be used for baking. MSCHF: Ketchup or Makeup
Fashion brand MSCHF does nothing but random collabs with brands and limited-supply drops. One of their best mashups involved working with Rihanna’s Fenty Beauty on “Ketchup or Makeup?“. The product is basically what it sounds like: It contains red packets that are either red Fenty Beauty lip gloss or ketchup. At $25 per order, we'll keep our fingers crossed for the former. Shop now.
