The Sundance Film Festival, everyone’s favorite time to spot celebs in the wild, starts January 23 and we’ve got our eye on Park City, Utah.

Known for epic skiing, great food and possibly one of the cutest Main Streets around, there may not be a better time to visit this winter wonderland. With that in mind, we tapped interior designer Stephanie Hunt, founder of lifestyle brand The Flairhunter — to give us the goods.

A self-described nomad, Hunt spent her childhood living abroad and traveling the world with her family. She is known for her approachable, colorful aesthetic, personalized art sourcing, and use of custom and vintage finds in her design and style choices.  She's all about crafting spaces that feel like you, with a sprinkle of eclectic flair and a whole lot of heart.

A graduate of the University of Southern California, Hunt divides her time between Southern California and Park City, UT. And, in between, enthusiastically travels the globe in her ongoing hunt for flair.

So who better to share where to stay and après in Park City, UT:

Where To Stay

Pendry Park City

A mountain location between Park City's Main Street and freeway areas, offering ski-in/ski-out access for snowboarders, skiers and those drawn to an incredible art collection, unique furnishings and decorative light fixtures throughout.

Book here, rates start at $1,112.

Washington School House

I basically want to move in — the antiques, modern art, stunning finishes and small boutique hotel status make it feel like a beautifully designed home.

Book here, rates start at $666.

The St. Regis Deer Valley

For the funicular ride up the mountain and the Vintage Room — all things après! Crystal chandeliers, bars and a DJ inside a clear, marine-style see-through structure.

Book here, rates start at $1,899.

The Lodge at Blue Sky, Auberge Resorts Collection

For those craving luxury a bit removed from the mayhem, feel like you’re a Kardashian. Quiet luxury meets James Beard-level cuisine at their restaurant, Yuta — just a 20-minute drive from Park City proper.

Book here, rates start at $1,499.

Stein Eriksen Lodge

For the quintessential old-school European/Scandinavian Viking vibe: rich colors, carved wood details, luxurious textiles, outstanding service and the legacy of Norwegian Olympic skier and beloved Parkite Stein Eriksen. Fun fact: my Norwegian mom knew him and hung out with their friend group as young transplants in the U.S. during the mid-1950s.

Book here, rates start at $1,158.

Where To Eat & Drink

Firewood

Think industrial-chic with oversized fans and an upscale mining town vibe, paired with their special riff on American cuisine. Expect clever combos in salads, steak and seafood. My go-to? Crispy pork belly with sweet potatoes, apples, walnuts and honey, plus their butternut squash soup with cranberries, onions and sage.

Yuki Yama Sushi

The best Japanese and sushi in Park City, IMO. Inventive rolls, a friendly staff that feels like family and the Main Street spot every local Japanese food lover flocks to. Don’t miss the miso-glazed black cod, edamame with togarashi and cherry preserves (trust me) and ribs with a chocolate-jalapeño teriyaki glaze. Too many sushi favorites to list!

Palomino

From the owners of Riverhorse comes a hipped-up bar version of their iconic restaurant. Think of it as Riverhorse’s cool younger sister, all about snacks and clever cocktails. The street-level spot is perfect for meeting friends, with a great bar scene. Don’t miss the lobster crackers, pimento cheese dip and The Golddigger cocktail: Veuve Clicquot, mezcal, Cointreau, lime and agave.

Five5eeds

The best breakfast and lunch spot in town — just ask any local or in-the-know vacationer. For me, it’s all about their Shakshuka or the giant hotcake with mascarpone and fresh berries. When I’m feeling jet-lagged, depleted or fighting off a cold, I swing by for their green juice: kale, tart green apples, coconut water, ginger and pineapple.

Handle

First off, the decor kills me — decoupaged book pages as wall coverings, coins lacquered on the bar top, cool lighting and a tile-faced bar. The 80s mall-like location somehow makes it even cooler, like a modern speakeasy dropped into 1982, packed with stylish, discerning diners. And the food ups the ante tenfold. Chef Briar Handly is a visionary talent who can hold his own anywhere in the world — and trust me, I’d cross continents for a reservation. As for the menu? Two words: Fried Chicken.
