Saddle up, y’all — the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo, one of the country’s oldest rodeos and an iconic Texas tradition, just started and we have our eye on the Lonestar State.
Fort Worth, to be specific. And while most thoughts of Texas center around boots, bluebonnets and BBQ, we’re here for the PJs. Most notably, the ones from Lila and Hayes, the Fort Worth-based brand from Paige Casey and Amanda Galati.
Both longtime Fort Worth residents, either by birth or marriage, were frustrated by the lack of soft, stylish pajamas for kids and did what any sleep-deprived parents would do — booked a flight to Lima, Peru. A pima cotton tradeshow later, and Lila and Hayes was born.
Named after their “first babies” (Lila and Hayes), the brand quickly filled the gap in the market with luxuriously soft pima cotton pieces. Think everything from baby layettes to matching sets for the whole fam.
