Emily McCarthy’s Guide to Savannah, GA
The glam designer shares her local faves.
As the New Year approaches, it’s time to get glam and we know just the person to ask.
This year, we’re turning to Emily McCarthy, founder and designer of the eponymous lifestyle brand, to help upgrade our NYE fit. McCarthy, known for her playful patterns, glittering design touches and undeniable sense of fun has a drool-worthy 14,000-square-foot office in Savannah, GA, a boutique and wine bar called The Joy Club and a devoted following.
A Georgia native, McCarthy transformed her passion for design into a thriving business. Launching in 2012, McCarthy’s collections are designed to bring bright colors and vibrant patterns to everything from Monday meetings to weekend soirées. Her creative inspiration comes from the refined world of interior design, particularly the richness of fabrics and wallcoverings. She believes that confidence starts from within, but bold colors and flattering styles can dress you in joy.
