According to everyone’s third favorite social network, which reported over a billion travel-related searches in the past year, 80% of its 500 million users turn to the site when planning trips. 

Based on all those searches, Pinterest predicts huge upswings in adventure trips, wellness vacations, quiet life travel, cross-country road trips and excursions to unique or mysterious destinations. What specific locales are on the rise, you ask? The Philippines, Machu Pichu, Tanzania, Jasper (Canada) and Edinburgh are a few of the destinations that seem poised to host huge numbers of travelers this year. It really makes us wonder: what’s the official company policy of “work from safari” or “work from Scottish pub”?
