Home to fjords a’plenty and arguably the world’s most-memed work of art, Norway is also one of the happiest countries on Earth.

But how do Norwegians themselves feel about their homeland, especially its capital, Oslo? Well, if we’re to believe this Visit OSLO ad, they pretty much think it’s completely lame, which is exactly why we’re so ready to book our next getaway there.

Centered on 31-year-old local Halfdan, the two-minute ad asks if Oslo is really even a city compared to places like New York and Paris by focusing on all the boring aspects of the capital. He bemoans how you can go swimming in the ocean downtown, walk from one side of the city to the other in under an hour, and see great works of art without having to wait in long lines. Of course, this is really all just a well-constructed ruse as we get to see just how nice Oslo actually is while our narrator mourns the fact that it’s so easy to do everything you want in the Norwegian capital. “Sometimes I just walk in right off the street to get a table, and I’m not even famous.” That sounds truly awful, Halfdan.
