Welcome to Book It!, our monthly look at a buzzy new hotel or resort we're excited about.

If you're anything like us, then you're probably due for your yearly thought of, "Gosh, when's the last time I went camping?"

If that's the case, let us introduce you to Snow Peak Campfield in Long Beach, WA. This is the first US campsite opened by the acclaimed Japanese outfitter and before you ask, yes – they have cabins as well. Here’s what to know, what to do and what to pack for your visit.

What to Know

Snow Peak takes inspiration from its Japanese heritage, where humans view themselves as part of nature, rather than separate from it. The property prioritizes restoration and conservation at every turn, working to revive wetlands and nurture the flora and fauna that call them home.

Campers of all kinds can enjoy the property, with the Campfield team offering campsites (for the experienced camper with their own gear), tent suites (totally outfitted and set up by Snow Peak’s team) and jyubako suite cabins (yes, it's like glamping).

The real show-stopper, however, is their Ofuro Spa – an impeccably designed and serene open-air soaking pool, cold plunge and sauna. Once you're done enjoying everything the spa has to offer, guests and locals alike can grab a glass of wine, beer or a light bite at Campstore, or enjoy games and regular events like live music and chef pop-ups.

Check out their calendar of events to see what's happening in the months ahead and book your stay here. Rates start at $65 per night.
