Just a few miles from town and a short ride to the best skiing in the region on Mt. Mansfield, this 73-room hotel, which opened in July 2024, is situated on an expansive property alongside the tranquil West Branch Little River and offers direct access to Stowe’s Recreation Path.

With interiors designed by One Union Studio and architecture by Wiemann Lamphere Architects, Outbound Stowe draws on New England’s design heritage, with features like minimal exterior ornamentation and simple, utilitarian lines, complemented by Vermont woodworking traditions. Celebrating local artisans, the spaces showcase fine arts and crafts rooted in the region's heritage, leaning heavily into a cheerful, unexpected color palette unique to the area.

Whether you’re fueling up for the day or relaxing after a long day on the mountain, Outbound’s Eastside Bar and Grill is where Stowe meets for craft cocktails, local beers, and something warm and hearty—a destination blending the quality of Boston or New York's culinary scene with some much-needed laid-back mountain vibes. And while the hotel is also home to the town’s largest outdoor pool – ideal after a long day of hiking in the warmer months – there are also plenty of hot tubs and fire pits to enjoy après ski too.
