Wearable Wallpaper at The Peninsula London
Olivia von Halle and de Gournay team up for a new pajama capsule collection.
The newest collab between London-based Olivia von Halle and luxe design brand de Gournay made exclusively for The Peninsula London has us ready to pour a stiff G&T and settle in for the night.
von Halle, a former trend forecaster and brand consultant for clients like Louis Vuitton and Gucci Group, launched her eponymous line in 2011. After coming home from evenings out with friends, she longed to ditch her high heels and constricting outfits for something glam yet comfy to lounge in before bed. As she shares on her site, “Inspired by the lounging pyjamas worn by Coco Chanel and her contemporaries in the 1920s, I started work with a tailor to design the perfect pair of pyjamas.”
Featuring bucolic scenes of London’s Hyde Park, the scenic wallpaper hand-painted by de Gournay for The Peninsula London serves as inspiration for this exclusive capsule collection comprised of a limited-edition pajama and eye mask set in a sumptuous silk satin, each piece a wearable work of art.
Packaged in a limited edition, co-branded box featuring The Hyde Park print, these make for the ultimate hostess gift or, if nothing else, will add some glam to your bed rotting attire.
