When we got a glimpse of El Fenn in a Condè Nast Traveler piece on the most luxurious hotel bathrooms in the world, it was game over. To say that the Marrakech-based property takes the ritual of the bath seriously would be an understatement.
What started as a small guest house owned by Howell James and Vanessa Branson has evolved into 41 rooms and suites, plus a 1,300-square-meter rooftop spanning 2,700 square meters of the Marrakech medina. The hotel's colorful rooms and attention to decorative detail earned it a reputation as one of Marrakech’s most beautiful hotels – with Architectural Digest calling it “Instagram gold.”
