Solange Knowles introduces a new glassware collection.

Although she broke on the scene as Beyonce’s slightly wild and supremely talented younger sister, Solange Knowles has made a name for herself in her own right as a musician, creative and now designer in the newest collaboration, "Small Matter: Form Glassware 001," from her multidisciplinary design studio, Saint Heron.

According to Knowles’ recent interview with Wallpaper*, Saint Heron was founded mostly to focus on music in the digital realm. Today, it has morphed into a creative community of broader skills with a focused commitment to explore the possibilities of design in all forms, amplifying under-represented minds and hands, visions and voices in the process.

Produced by glassblower Jason McDonald, Saint Heron’s “Small Matter Art Objects: Glassware 001” is intended to “inspire communal connection through gatherings, while deepening artistic interest in the sprightly contributions of Blackness to design, objects, and architectural glassblowing.” The handblown glassware line features five different glasses in varying heights and configurations, all with topaz coupes and a luxe, onyx base. The trio available at MoMA (choose from Goblet, Wine Glass and Cordial) draws inspiration from Brutalist architecture and geometric motifs and is crafted from lightweight borosilicate glass and produced using graphite molds.

Although the glasses are already sold out on both Saint Heron’s site, as well as MoMA’s online store, we’re confident they’ll be back-in-stock soon.

In the meantime, here are some (hopefully!) Solange-approved options to keep happy hour going:
