A Posting Party in Cannes
The Cannes Lions Festival introduces LIONS Creators, a three-day event dedicated to the creator economy.
Influencers + festivals = nothing new, but an entire fringe festival dedicated to content creators on the national stage? That’s something we haven’t seen before.
This week, the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity – the advertising arm of the famous film festival held in the south of France – is hosting LIONS Creators; a three-day mini-fest dedicated to the creator economy.
The event includes a wide range of talks and panels covering topics like The Rapid Evolution of Athletes as Brand Builders, How Brands Can Bring Mindfulness Back to Marketing and Building Bridges, Not Barriers, in Content Partnerships. Additionally, you can expect a wide range of prominent voices from the industry, like Yara Shahidi, Madeline Argy and Jay Shetty, to speak on the topics they know best.
If you weren’t able to make it to Cannes this year, you can still sign up for a digital pass here. On the plus side, you’ll still get a ton out of the presentations. But on the less plus side, you'll also get fewer Aperol spritzes overlooking the French Riviera. Maybe next year?
