On this solemn day, nothing but love for the Big Apple.
New York can be a lot of things: big, bright, brash, loud, grimy, electric, relentless.
But one thing it is not: half-hearted. To live and love New York, you must be all-in. Over the past 23 years, the city has remained resilient, strong and has shown it will not be defeated, even when faced with uncertainty.
Today we remember those who lost their lives and those who fought fiercely to protect the city and people who loved it so much. We celebrate all the good things that New York represents and the people who make it so. We celebrate all the things that make New York, well...New York.
