Outer Banks, Season 4, premieres on Netflix on October 10. And with a new treasure hunt on the horizon, there’s a lot to look forward to when the new season drops.

A little refresher for those living under a rock: Outer Banks is about a group of teenagers who search for a legendary treasure on a North Carolina Island, while also trying to find out what happened to the missing father of the group's leader. John B (Chase Stokes), Sarah (Madelyn Cline), JJ (Rudy Pankow), Kiara (Madison Bailey), Pope (Jonathan Daviss), and Cleo (Carlacia Grant) are back for the biggest season yet — split into two five-episode parts, with Part 1 dropping Oct. 10 and Part 2 dropping Nov. 7. Chock-full of a painfully good-looking cast, beautiful settings shot on location in Charleston, SC and the Outer Banks of North Carolina (duh), Outer Banks has become a binge-worthy phenomenon for the Gen Z set.

For Season 4, Forbes shares, “In Season 3, the Pogues finally got their happily-ever moment after finding the gold at El Dorado. Season 4 opens with the Pogues leaving the treasure-hunting life behind to start a bait and tackle shop and charter tour company."

"They come back home to the Outer Banks and they actually build what they had on the island, but even a better version of it: Poguelandia 2.0,” showrunner Jonas Pate told Entertainment Weekly. “They really create their own paradise.”

However, their bliss only lasts “for a second,” John B., aka Chase Stokes teased, because the Pogues soon find themselves back in the “G game” — this time on a new treasure hunt for the pirate Blackbeard’s trove. “The season’s really about them trying to protect what they’ve built back in the Outer Banks,” adds Pate.
