The University of Alabama’s #BamaRush videos of girls getting ready for sorority recruitment have trended every fall for the last few years, and each year America tunes in to see which sweet Southern belle will get the bid to her dream house.
This year though, something interesting happened...the boys are stealing the spotlight. Enter: PledgeTok, a new form of TikTok videos in which fraternity hopefuls have to make their own dance videos, suited up in their finest jackets and slacks, as a fun little pledging activity.
Do these boys have style? No. Do they have rhythm? Also no. Think, Chad Radwell from Scream Queens, but with less fashion and more dancing. But somehow, their videos are racking up millions of views.
One thing they DO have is OG preppy collegiate style, which we saw on the fall 2024 runways from brands like Ambush and at fashion weeks across the world.
