Golf, A Cultural Driver ⛳
The fairway is now a runway.

Spring hits different in Augusta, where pink azaleas bloom and the real stars are pimento cheese sandwiches.

The Masters — back April 7–13 — feels less like a golf tourney and more like the South’s most elite garden party, if the garden served $1.50 egg salad. But the hype around golf isn’t just seasonal. What do Kate Upton, Justin Bieber, Drake and your grandpa have in common? A thing for the fairway. According to the National Golf Foundation, the number of golfers ages 18 to 24 just hit a decade high — marking the fifth straight year of growth. Golf is officially cool again.

Today, the sport is less country club and more cultural influence. Dior’s pre-fall 2025 men’s collection leaned into 80s-retro golf-core with argyle sweaters and fringe-tongued kicks. Last year, Tyler, The Creator designed a sold-out collaboration with Louis Vuitton. Leaning on his experience with his brands Golf Wang and Golf Le Fleur, Tyler integrated streetwear and performance apparel and accessories, pairing grass-green Damier golf bags and dog-printed windbreakers with piped cardigans and pleated pants.

Emerging lifestyle brands inspired by golf are exploding, too. Criquet, Byrdie Golf Social Wear and Devereux Golf are all in on making golf gear that’s just as good for the 19th hole as it is the front nine. Malbon, golf apparel’s reigning cool kid, sold out a cheeky watch collab with TAG Heuer. And Fore All — a women’s line co-founded by a former Bachelor contestant — is teaming up with the Ladies PGA for a capsule that’s equal parts sporty and scroll-stopping.
Whether you’re chasing birdies or just here for the cart content, golf’s got influence — and everyone’s on board.
